Here is Ella on Halloween evening- October 31, 2009. As you can see, the SUPER high fever and Roseola had her feeling awful. She never made it out Trick-or-Treating. Never wore her Minnie Mouse costume (other than for a few pics). Never got to see anyone else dressed up. Never got candy. Never had fun. :( And boy, she did NOT forget about Halloween. Every day since before Halloween, she would wake up and say, "Hawowee?? Trick or Treat? Cousins? Oooooo.... my Minnie Mouse dress!" It made me so sad. :(
SO.....we did a Halloween Re-Do for her!
Ella's little girlfriends came over all dressed up in their Halloween costumes so that Ella could have "her" Halloween. Yes, on November 8th. :)
We did Fall arts & crafts.
Played lots. Ate lots of treats. Had lots of fun. And.......

Went TRICK-OR-TREATING!! I must say, we have THE best neighbors. It was their idea. They pulled together and waited at home for us to arrive. Bowls of candy filled Ella's pumpkin! It made me smile to see Ella SO excited.

She never knew that Halloween had already came and went. Had no clue. To her, last night was Halloween. :)
She knocked on the doors, said, "Trick-or Treat!" to everyone. Said "Thank you." And made sure she got her candy and was off to the next house!
She might have stopped a couple times to try and eat some in between houses. :) Like mother like daughter.

She was a pro trick-or-treater. As if she had done it a hundred times before. And in my opinion, I think last night was actually more fun for her than the actual Halloween night because everyone's scary decorations were already put away. :) She didn't even like her own jack-o-lantern, I don't think she would have reacted very good to the creepy clowns roaming the streets and witches hanging from people's doors.

How sweet!! I love that you did a re-do for her...looks like she had a great time!! So she ended up having Roseola??? Oh no....Ayden had that when he was little and had 105 fever....I didn't even think to tell you that when you were trying to figure out what she had! Glad she is doing better!! =)
Oh my gosh that is so sweet of everyone! And you are probably right she probably had a better time that night since the decorations were all away!
She looks so ADORABLE in that costume! What an awesome idea to do that and such a "storyteller" for her when she grows up. What awesome neighbors as well.
