Ella had her 2 year well check-up last Friday. All went well. And a really good report. All we had to do was pull into the parking lot and Ella lost it! She was crying and saying, "No doctor, mommy! I go home!" Poor thing. The last 2 times she was there she had H1N1 and then Roseola. So, as you can imagine... she was poked all over the place with needles and things shoved up her nose. So, she is definitely traumatized of the doctor's office now. She cried the whole time in the waiting room. She cried on our walk down the hallway. She cried when her doctor listened to her heartbeat, for goodness sake! After the exam, she was able to walk around the room and play with toys while it was "mommy's turn" with the doc (answering/asking questions and all that good stuff). I knew it was time for the nurse to come in with that little white basket. :) With a band-aid attached to the side and a needle inside. Ella's worst nightmare. However, Ella handled it all MUCH better than I had thought. Yes, she cried, but they let me hold her while they pricked her thigh. It was over in a flash and so was her crying. THANK GOD! Then we were on our way!
Ella's 2 year stats:
Weight: 30lbs, putting her (dropping down to...) the 80th percentile.
Height: 35.5", putting her in the 90th percentile.

That sounds so much like our doctor visits when it's Zoe's turn! Girls are such drama...Ayden takes it like a champ!! And looks like you are gonna have a tall girl that takes after her Daddy!
Happy 2nd Birthday to Ella! So sad about the doc visit! It'll get better over the years I am sure! She weighs more than Kira, LOL! But she is so tall too! :)
BTW: Love her hair, it's getting long and w/ curls! Lucky!
First of all that is an adorable picture of her, and those curls! She just had Roseola? So did Jake! Poor thing. That is hard when they are afraid of the Dr. We were there last week for our 2nd h1n1 and James LOVES the dr. He can't wait to get there to play with the toys!
I love those legs, curls, eyes.....I love that girl!
