Picking Up Where We Left Off

Well, we finally got to celebrate our anniversary after having to cancel and reschedule due to being sick a couple weeks ago. And let me start off by saying, it was one of the best getaways we've had!

We stayed at South Coast Winery in Temecula and our patio was smack in the middle of the vineyards! It was SO pretty and SO relaxing! We started our day off by visiting Falkner Winery where we said, "I do!" 3 years ago. We did some wine tasting, a little bit more wine tasting and just a tad bit more wine tasting... Then we headed over to The Pennacle Restaurant, where our reception was held. It brought back so many wonderful memories. The room was still as beautiful as I had remembered. But...not as beautiful as it was that night. :) We even got a little visit from Loretta Falkner, whom did SO much to make our day extra special.

Here we are back at our villa after a fun-filled day!
We sat on our patio and watched the sunset while drinking, yet another, glass of wine. :) Yes, we were taking full advantage of our adult/couple/date/hubby & wife time.

A little surprise Loretta Falkner had sent to our table. It was so thoughtful and as Jeff said, "We should've got that! And even more after handing her over the thousands of dollars for one day!" Me: "Oh Jeff, you're being silly. We got such a cough*deal*uh hum. It was so nice of her, she didn't have to do anything!" Soooo.... anyway, I'm glad Jeff scarfed this down within a matter of 60 seconds. He enjoyed it. It's alright. Poor Loretta doesn't know that I HATE cheesecake.

Needless to say, we had a WONDERFUL anniversary!! Happy 3 Years and here's to many, many more! XOXO
